We have a team of dedicated and qualified doctors and staff who speak a variety of languages including English, Hindi, Bahasa, Urdu and Punjabi.
Billing Policy from December 2024
The following patients will continue to be bulk billed:
- Children aged under 16 years,
- People with a Health Care card or Pension card regardless of age.
Services provided to all other patients, will have a gap fee of $40 for most appointments.
We have Medicare Easy Claim and EFTPOS capability, so you can claim your Medicare rebate at the time of paying the consultation fee. This means the relevant Medicare rebate/s are returned immediately (or overnight into your Medicare linked bank account if you do not have your debit card with you).
Currently we are able to bulk bill the following services for patients who are eligible:
- GP Management Plans (and reviews)
- Team Care Arrangements (and reviews)
- Medicare funded Health Assessments
Payment is expected at the time of consultation. EFTPOS is the preferred payment method for in person consults. For telehealth consults you will be prompted to enter your card details at the time of booking if you book online. If you book a telehealth appointment through our website, you will be prompted to make payment through our HotDoc booking service at the completion of your appointment.
A cancellation fee of $50.00 will apply if you fail to attend your appointment (or no respond for telehealth appointments) or if you cancel your appointment within 3 hours of the appointment time for GP appointments and 24 hours for Allied Health appointments.
The patients shall pay for all costs actually incurred by Unanderra Community Doctors in the recovery of any monies owed under this Agreement including recovery agent costs, repossession costs, location search costs, process server costs and solicitor costs on a solicitor/client basis.

We now have a policy regarding missed and cancelled appointments. If you wish to cancel your appointment, please contact us at least 3 hours before your appointment time otherwise a fee of $50 be incurred regardless of concessional or age status. Patient demand is high for appointments, especially during this time due to increased cases of COVID-19 and Influenza and an increase in Housing Estates in the area. By cancelling your appointment the practice is able to offer the booking to another patient in need.
Patients and visitors are encouraged to wear masks within the Practice if they have any cold or flu like symptoms.
If you have any cold or flu symptoms or have tested positive to COVID-19 please ensure you wear a mask throughout the practice.
Please advise us if you have not been seen face-to-face within the last 12 months as Medicare will not cover the consult.
Covid-19 vaccines are available for patients aged 5 years and above. The vaccines available are Pfizer 5-11 years and Pfizer 12+ for doses 1 and 2, and Moderna Bivalent BA.4-5 12+ years, which is the recommended vaccine for booster doses.
Everyone is recommended to defer COVID-19 vaccinations for 6 months after a confirmed COVID-19 infection.

Medicare funded Flu Vaccinations are now available.
Private Flu Vaccines are also available for $20.

Dr. Priyank Gupta is an experienced general practitioner who strives to provide compassionate care to his clients. He obtained training and experience in the United kingdom and has qualifications in dermatology, cardiology , surgery, sexual and reproductive health and aims to provide highest care possible to his clients. His philosophy of care is client centred and communicates effectively. His top most priority is to listen to his clients and offer them practical options which are realistic and prepares SMART goals in collaboration with his clients.

Dr Priyanka Singh is an experienced GP who has worked internationally in the United Kingdom from January 2005 till August 2014 and India from August 1999 till August 2004, before settling in Australia to live in 2014. Dr Priyanka has worked as a GP from September 2014 to June 2015 in Wollongong. Dr Priyanka believes in pro-actively learning from patients, colleagues and attending PDP meetings as part of annual appraisal and revalidation is essential. Dr Priyanka has the experience of working in both rural and urban population’s world wide and believes that every patient deserves the best care possible, no matter where they live. Dr Priyanka is hard working, dedicated and punctual, and believes being patient centred and involving them in decision making of their health is vital.

Dr Erin is originally from Wollongong and started her medical training at The University of Sydney and Westmead Clinical School after completing an undergraduate Bachelor of Science at The University of Wollongong. She completed her internship in the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District, working at hospitals including Wollongong, Shellharbour and Milton-Ulladulla. Erin prefers a collaborative approach to decision making with people, helping them to achieve their immediate goals while encouraging strategies to optimise their long term health outcomes. She is interested in all areas of general practice.
